make the trade channel 110 an Auto entered channel like Fleet channel is so that its not always empty and ppl can see whats being sold bought and for thee the ppl that dont want to see the WTS/T/B spam can exit the channel

Some of us don't need to buy/trade/sell anything and don't want to have to type /x 110 every time we start NF to not have extra messages in the chatbox.

If you are looking to sell something, join 110

If your looking to buy something or maybe a good deal, join 110.


Don't give the majority extra work. The reason trade chat was moved to 110 was to get rid of the clutter it was causing in all chat.

omg is it realy that hard for ppl to type /x 110 or they just that lazy ?
im only made this topic cuz half the community doesnt even know about 110 channel and its almost always empty and at the most there be 5 ppl in it and im sure that there is more then 5 ppl that WTS/T/B w/o the fear of being Banned by a mod and most ppl dont have the time/patience to hold a Trade room for lose of game play this would simplify the matter

Channel 110 needs more advertising, quite a number of players still have no idea about channel 110 where they can see what are being sold etc.

I don't think making it compulsory is the way to do it, we just have to let more people know of its existence :)

what people seem to be missing in the original suggestion is .... he said : .. "like fleet chat" .....

that means a checkbox above the chat bar window ... so it can simply be toggled on and off ('like fleet chat')


you would only have to type ... /x (msg) .... if you wanted to participate in trade channel to buy or sell something
and if you don't want to be bothered with trade chatter .. simply toggle the checkbox off (or make OFF the defualt)

click the checkbox ON to view trade chatter .. click it OFF to hide it and ignore it ... (make OFF default start mode)

and the ever-present checkbox would also serve as 'advertising' to clue new people that there is something there

Is it that hard to type in /e 110 or are you just that lazy?

People are informed enough about trade modality, some people just prefer the forum to annoying macro spammers.

I wouldn't be against some display or officializing of such a channel, but forcing people in is just hunting an hamster with a bazooka.

You might think this is a bad idea but we others think this is a good one btw Forum MODs isnt this WTB in wrong part of the forum?

I have never heard about channel 110, i while look this up and try it out bu i recced it :P

im glad some ppl understand me and my point im trying to make here since 110 is dead alot and most dont know of it and any other way to make a quik sell = BAN for WTS/T/B so get Banned for trade SPAM and lose game play or the other is sit in a room for days in trade area hoping some1 comes to buy so that u can get back to playing
