That wouldn't bring them back, but maybe allow people to talk to old friends (granted that the account is still active, and still owned by said person)
SDE already sends nice newsletter with bait to draw old timers back. Namely new nations and such.
Recc'ed cuz it IS somewhat of an obvious lack imo.
Its true,what you say. But maybe there is some old players that left for Real life purposes. or maybe new players, that left and forgot about navyfield, or whatever other reasons are, and checking how nf is now, might bring some of them back.
But for sure, its a good tool, to use when someone is sending you an important information regarding your account, Pm, or making a sell.
