Hello to all!

Before you read the following please note :

---------------------------------------------------------------------

By no means this is something that SDE should support. Use this to your own discretion, if
it doesn't work I can't help you too much as I didn't write the program.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

I am sure you have tried the d3d windower in windows 7. I'm not sure if it worked for you
- however it failed miserably for me. So I stumbled upon something that works just as
well. The application is called DXWnd, I apologize if some one has already posted this,
however I didn't find anything.

Instructions :

Install 7zip to extract :

http://www.7-zip.org/

Pick 32 or 64 bit based on your windows installation, download and install.

Then click here :

http://appaholic.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/dxwnd.7z

Extract files and remove the maple story it comes with, by clicking edit-> delete
Add Navyfield by clicked edit -> add, after wards click edit-> modify. Please put the
settings I have :

http://i912.photobucket.com/albums/ac327/computergeeek1986/settings-1.png?t=1295268572

Pretty much change 2 settings. However these settings are important!

Run Navyfield like you normally would, and then it should be windowed. ^_^

Notes :

Text comes up a bit funny sometimes, and for one reason or another missions crash. In game
works, I've run 3 games or so and I haven't had a problem. Like I said though, we don't
support it.

Reason why I found this :

I thought it'd be fun to share, if anyone was interested. Well today is MLK day here in
the office, everyone is gone except me, I'm at work. Sooo I have to do my "job" and be the
most awesomest moderator at the same time. So I needed a windowed solution so I can go
back and forth in an instant!

So I set it up and and indeed enjoying the comfort of a windowed game :P

This is a thread made by computergeek on the old forum. I know he's using DXWnd as well, but try to follow the instructions, may be you did something wrong in between 0.o

hope i can help you bud
