UK dual 8" aren't made to be sniping guns, but work good on County and Surrey as HAW guns.

Main drawback is accuracy, but you get 8 barrel with a better FCS on them.

On tiger, I,d guess with only half the barrels and a lesser FCS, they prolly are giving you an hard time to spot shells and to get decent accuracy.

For PCL, I suggest running .2 belt and some bulge, keeping the speed and at lower level if available, choose an engine with maybe slightly less HP, but a greater OH ratio (120% ideally). You'll lose a few knot of base speed, but for an higher OH speed, if available (normally a CV engine)

I'm no expert on UK, but those worked with other PCL.

Also, you might want to consider going back to trip 6" on it.


Be aware rld UK will have a slow acc growth, so you won't have really great at level performance for CA->BB2, unless you massively BVE. You will however hit both cap sooner, around BB4 level.


Alternatively, if those solutions don't work or you simply do not like your options, you can sell the PCL to the harbor for some creds and points. Maybe enough to buy your York.

Shoot I was trying to figure out whether to go ACC or Rel hvy gunner and searched the forums and saw advice to go reload but now I think I probably would have rather been able to hit something and enjoy the CA- BB2 ships. Maybe with the York it won't seem so bad.

Its funny when I go back to Emerald and play some blitz I'm like "I love how fast and accurate these RP10s are!"

Maybe I"ll have to retrain some gunners...

I see some of these BC and BB in blitz with sweet accuracy taking out ships in a couple salvos and I'm jealous. :)
