There are  some softwares which can let you change the keyboard and mouse buttons' original setting and don't have the "macro" function.

With these, you can control your airplane's altitude by arrow keys, or select the airplane by number pad ... ...
or, use the mouse's wheel to control ship's movement by changing "wheel up" to "F" and "wheel down" to "V" ....
if change "wheel up" to "left click", it will makes you feel more comfortable when controling fighters, since you don't need to do the "crazy left click" ....
All denpends on what you want. :)

But, after change the key setting by remapkey, you have to restart computer, bucause it will change the registry.
by using keyboardshield, no restart is needed, just its interface not as cool as remapkey.
