Which type of planes can the SS5 carry? Which type do you recommend?

Only Torp Bombers,the T2 TB's are naturally,the best choice (By T2's i mean the lvl 77 TB's,i refuse to count the lvl 33 paper planes as T1 TB's),that or foregoing planes and replacing your pilot with a Rep or Engy.

Can the TBs be loaded while submerged, and launch when the sub is surfaced? Or do they have to be loaded and launched only when the sub is surfaced?

Id have to guess its all gotta be done surfaced, as "loading" constitutes putting them on the launcher and having them prepared to fly. I could be wrong though.

Actually, you can even launch the TBs from underwater. Not sure if fail from SDE or intentional.

Then again why would I use lvl 33 TBs when i need to have lvl 98 BO to get the sub?

Forgot to level the pilot high enough before you got your sub? :p

I have SS5 IJN and both for load and lounch you need to be surfaced!!! if you are loading a TB and submerge the load stop and only back to load if you surfaced and for lounch is the same and to the TB back to the SS5 need to be surfaced too....... i love this SS5 =)

I totally agree. Toughest ship in NavyField to play well -- but it is a blast.
