  • navyfield.exe still running after closing NF

Anyone else having a problem with navyfield.exe still showing up in the running process list after you shut NF down? The process is still running and using up just as much memory as when  running. I realized this after my computer seemed to be lagging and I looked in task manager to find 3 navyfield.exe's were running.

true, also it does take time to disappear in the process, for me around 5 min after closing nf... but with 3 nf.exe thats new to me, i just kill the process when it won't disappear

Alt-Ctrl-Del and bring up the control panel, select the NF executable that is running, and cancel it. Your PC's memory will return to normal. I do that about 90% of the time after closing NF.

Otherwise you have to wait a few minutes for the memory banks to empty and NF to close.

I know how to end a process. I have never had this problem before; NF.exe always just ended when I shut NF down.

1.Control Alt Delete. Use Task manager
2.then select processes
3.at the top
4.now find NavyFIELD.exe
5.end process
6.ok
7.close task manager

Um... I think the point of the thread is that it should be more like:
1. Close NavyField
2. That's all. :)

ive never had this problem befor on the 2 computers i use to play NF ive tried when i closed NF its just not on the task maneger takes about like 5 seconds for me to everything to go to normal
