For us, torpedo bombers are better. the rewards are greater later on

Depends if you're ok with shared torp exp and getting relatively little attack thanks to 255 bulge users...

dbs give more xp and i think bit more dmg

Compare USN T2 TB to other nations TB and they are second best. Not only is the damage good but the plane stats are good and they take up the same space as T1 TB so you can carry more.

USN DBs compared to other nations are 2nd worst. The damage is about the same as T1 KM and SN but the planes are good and you can still be successful with them.

TB v DB is all about personal preference. Manual TB aim is easier to me then manual DB aim but bulge can negate your attack. DB is far easier to group and they are harder to spot then usn TB.

You are a fool if you go TBs before shared Torp EXP is fixed.



Use DBs, you'll get actual EXP plus they are easier to use for the newer players.

DBs dont earn exp anymore either...

I believe that if you are going to be a true bomber whore you should have a mix of both types of bombers. For most people it is usually personal preference as to which you choose along with which nation you are using. I haven't had a full BW US CV yet but I believe you can choose whichever one you think is more fun or better to use. However, you should probably still have both. ( I usually have 8 main pilots. 1~2 fighters, 3~4 DBs, and 3~4 TBs. ) I think that I am going to start using 24 pilots for each nation though. 8 Fighters, 8 DBs, and 8 TBs. This way I can choose full FW, full BW or mix...


EDIT: As stated above the TBs may earn less experience but they are still fun to use and they still level up, just at a slightly slower rate than DBs. I still think it would be wise to have both types of bombers though.
