this question has been asked about a dozen times (including by me) but I'm feeling kind so here's the short answer.

B65 is an average PBB, it's not spectacular but it is a useful leveling tool and it is fun to play (I have one I can vouch for it).

Fuso can be a powerhouse if played right but is not brilliant at-level.

I would say, if your crew is super awesome BVE then stick with the Fuso, you will get good in it and if you like it you can cause some serious pain. It's a very decent BB2 that can punch above its weight.

If, like me, your crew is (was) average, the B65 speed and range will help but it won't be a miracle weapon. Both ships TBH need a much higher level crew to truly excel but the B65 makes the grind to Nagato a lot less painful if you dislike the rushing BB2 style of the Fuso.

I'd say overall the B65 is worth it. I enjoyed it and I still play it, and it gets better as your crew lvls but if you're attached to your Fuso don't change it just for the sake of it.

I think you will have more fun in the fuso, unless you have the right crew. Some considerations:

-The B65 has a nice AA battery, but you need properly classed DP gunners to use it. Do you have those?

-Aiming is trickier with the B65 project. The spread is brutal with low level gunners and there is a lot of range and hangtime for a lvl 61 BO. If your BO doesn't have enough ability to spot the shells land, you wont be able to hit much. Ideally, you would like you guidelines to end at max range to make things easier on yourself.

If your crew is not that great, I think you will have more fun in the fuso blasting lower level ships and occasionally catching a big boy off guard. In the B65, you will probably hoist one or two salvos at the enemy BB line and hope they land on something after they have sunk you.

Don't get me wrong, I love the B65 especially because people don't usually take them seriously, but you need a decent crew. I think it is a fun way to spend a few bucks on NF, but not the best. It is definately the worst PBB. Hopefully Angus will use some of his pull to get the B65 in line with the other PBBs for the good of his beloved IJN.

Like I said in game, use the 16.1" Ds on the Fuso, you'll find it much more amusing.

With all the smoke you earned from previous events, there shouldn't be any difficulties sneaking in and pwning stuff.
