  • Need advice about CV crew setting

I currently have 8 fighter pilots above 100level and 6 DB pilots near 70level

and I'm considering about buying TB pilots....

how many TB pilots do you think I should buy?

I heard that many people use 6TB 2FT or 4TB 4FT setting...

plz recommend a setting for Torp bombers.... and add reason briefly

i would get 6 its hard to use fighters/DBs/TBs with only 4 FPs i higly rec 6

No Torp Bombers for SN.

If you REALLY want Torp Bombers,you'd be wise to go another nation,UK Preferably.

If you're going to get anymore pilots for your SN CV Crew,get a scout or 2.

SN TB Torp Damage (The Worst)


4783 (T1)
7174 (T2)

KM TB Torp Damage (Former Worst)

4943 (T1)
7790 (T2)

UK TB Torp Damage (The Best)

5685 (T1)
8527 (T2)

Hamann I don't know how you can use 5 ftrs 3 dbs and 1 tb because you can only have 8 pilots on board. You may have made a type but i'm not sure.



As to the original question. I personally run 2 ftrs 2 tbs and 3 dbs on my UK Ark Royal. ( Once I get CV5 I will run 2 ftrs 4 tbs and 2 dbs ) For SN I think it would be a good idea to have a mix of all 3. SN is supposed to have the best DBs and I think it would be a bad idea to not take advantage of that. If you like tbs better then I you should run 2 (FTR) 4 (TB) and 2 (DB). If you favor dbs then I would put 4 dbs and 2 tbs. No matter which setup you use make sure to provide the right ratio of planes to amount of pilots. As for the gameplay, I usually throw up my fighters first thing to get an idea of what I want to send my bombers after. After all of my bombers are done loading I usually stop managing the fighters. After the first wave of bombers is sent out I start loading the next wave and I keep loading them until I run out or the game ends.

The best crew for SN CV is 2 fighters to defend your ship, 4 dive bombers because the russian DBs are the best at damage and ability, one scout to better locate the victims of your bombers plus seaman who help you repairing your ship and increase the all sailors ability. Finally an engineer to dodge enemies tb, db and run fast to the subs.

Summarizing
1 BO
2 Fighters
4 Dive bombers
1 Scout
1 Seaman (high stat in repair, fighter and bomber)
1 Engineer
Do not forget two gunners always important.

Remember this is my opinion on CV of Russia only.
