  • file corrupted again

i`ve been trying to launch nf on my second pc, got the new instal client, got it updated to 1.331 than got it again manualy, got the file fix, and tryed moving the *.data files in and out and still i`ve got the file corrupted error. it works perfectly on my first pc with win7 and i dont think its the driver problem (got them updated anyway) im running out  ideas...

works for some ... use a USB thumb drive flash stick ... if you have one machine that runs NF and another that doesn't .. try copying the entire SDE/NF folder from the working machine to the non-working one ... see if that works

copying the whole nf folder to another computer won't work, tried it already a year ago... its because nf install its registry in the computer while in the installation process

try uninstalling them with the use of CCleaner, make sure that there is no folder left from NF after uninstallation,

restart your computer, after restart try to install it again, after installing it, update it and try to run after updating,

let see the result then

i didn't say to uninstall on the 'broken' machine ... leave the menu icons there ..

i said to pull a bait and switch and paste the new folder in from the working machine
and then try launching (not installing) the game with the working data files in place

this is how i solved my data corruption issue in the past ...
leave the messed up NF in place and clone the uncorrupted working folder over-write on top of it
see if that 'fixes' the data corruption issue ... it worked for me when nothing else on the forums did
