they show up in your HQ i think you have to click on them to use them and you get to select which sailor you want to put it on

hey tech just click on HQ enter secondary password look and you'll see the items if not click on the item tab to check if you have it

when ur in ur harbor top of ur screen is the word item, click it ( item store : where u buy from sde ) browse the tabs till sailor item :S)

Does anyone know if we have to wait till the battle ends to get a possible drop? I know you must win, just wonder on staying till the end. Thanks.

I'm lose but i get item !!!! , In battle only me and Enemy but I'm lost than I have expert100 x2!!. What is this? I think this event is Bug.

The only requirement you have to meet is by being in the battle for at least 5 minutes. Once the battle has passed the 5 minute mark, you can leave, win or lose, and still have a chance to get a random item drop.

However, you will NOT get a coin if you get a win unless you stay until the end of the battle.

That is how the Coin event and the Random Item drop events differ this time around.
