It doesn't have Yamato range, because it can't use Yamato guns. But it has bigger firepower, because 6 Nagato guns kick butt.

It's basically a 1.5 Nagato.

Great ship, most fun I had playing IJN, can only recommend the Hyuga

Most IJN prem/event ships are either fun to play but poor combatants, or just plain crap. This is the greatest exception to that rule.

In addition to being fun, the ship is well and truly a beast. Fairly difficult to land a good salvo on, decent speed, and decent BB3 range, it can also accept goofy setups like 6xMikasa guns (Gnei firepower and speed, but twice the rate of fire). Its only real drawback is the gun placement (2 forward, 4 aft), which makes landing your own salvo fairly awkward, as you have to turn slightly after moving in to get it off. The arrangement's great if you're getting chased, but that doesn't happen quite as often, since its firepower and hitbox beg for an aggressive playstyle.

I'm aiming for this ship in the event.

TBH if you enjoy Fuso, and/or played Fuso with 16" equipped, I don't see how this can't rock.

its not my topic, but i have a question regarding hyuga:
on eu-server every hyuga use triple guns and here i only saw dual guns on it (i play on us server for 6 days or so :) )
can everyone confirmed triple guns are possible? i'm afraid not, because on eu-server hyuga (and the other ebb3) are app. level 84
