Actually, depending on where you live, it started 1 Sept 1939, or perhaps sometime in 1937 in China.

I mean if u really wanted to b specific WW2 started right after WW1, it was just a matter of time.

ww2 started when germany broke The Versailles Treaty by invading Poland in September 1939.

World War II started when Japan first started its aggressive movements in the 1930s, That was when WWII started.

The European Conflict part just expanded the wars in Asia and the Western Pacific into WWII.

World War II started when Japan first started its aggressive movements in the 1930s, That was when WWII started.

The European Conflict part just expanded the wars in Asia and the Western Pacific into WWII.

Well... Really the wars in Europe and the attack on Pearl Harbor is what made it World War 2 until then it was just 2 countries trying to aggressively expand their Empires. But yes, the "aggressive movements" of Japan in the early 30's is what, you can say, started World War 2.
