Let me start off by saying I like to play either one. What I would like to point out is a few things.
Take it how ever you wish.

GB-Pro
Most higher level/Cv user enjoy this. Both for the credits and the chance at great exp if you preform
above average. Also no risk of flag ship being sunk/dc'ed

GB-Con
Low level BB's/Cv's all want to level not so much credits. Problem with that is low level bb's tend to get
very little exp as they are not able to do as much damage, as the bb 5s+ picking them off. Cvs who
dont want alot of credits but more less level up faster. There going to DB or TB, mainly (DB). This type
of greed leads to less scouting and more of them tring to get a higher damage for more exp. Not Higher
FP's for credits. Overall High level BB's you have no one to blame for lack of sight but yourself in this mode

GB2-Pro
Great exp for all levels, due to the shared system. Could be quick games if people would join more often.
to the amount of ships needed to start. Adds a new element to the game, apart from deathmatch style
all the time. CV's are more willing to scout in these modes due to the shared exp, they no longer need
to bomber whore to keep up to bb's damage. Which leads to overall better gameplay team wise.

GB2-Con
The flagship, first on the list. Losing due to a dc or noobs sucks. But lets face it dc's and noobs are in all
games lol. Lower Credits then a GB1, which for higher levels.Is what people are looking for the most.

Overall id have to say  GB2 as it use to be and even now is overall better for those seeking exp and more
team work across the board. As for GBs for those seeking money and not worrying about team work.

You are wrong.

The way the EXP if factored from Team Attack is different between the two game modes; for subs and TBs it was better as torpedo attack contributed more to personal rather than shared EXP. However, because of the switch from 20BBs/8CVs down to 16/6, GB I will always provide better EXP per hour averaged (for non TB CVs and subs).

Also, the reason for the switch was because of the amount of complaints about how bad of an idea the flagship is. The more you have to rely upon someone else the worse off this game gets. There is no team work since SDE decided that I can't play with the people I want.

i believe the overal reason to switch from gb2 to gb1 was the complaints about wanting to start without cv's
because they were in shortage. ( making gb2's smaller so they wouldn't soak up all the cv's)

since no gb1 ever starts without cv's now i'd say that didnt work out to well..
and the smaller amount of ships makes the gb2 unattractive as well

i think there would be a better balance of the 2 versions if gb2 would be restored to its old size (20-8) other than that
i think that it's still much of a personal preference which one you prefer playing

That sums it up well. GB is not very good for low level ships.

There needs to be some intermediate battle room that will allow BB and CV 1-3 to get good battle xp without having to leach to do it because of BB5s whipping you out before you see them or get in range.

Low level BBs are needed in GBs. You cannot expect to be in a low level ship and play as a capitol ship. Different tactics must be used.

i lol'd,
but no if they would just actually make a vote system for the flagship, that would make the gamemode a lot more appealing!

the main point i was tring to point out wasn't that you got more exp in gb2 compred to gb1 because in gb1 u can get alot if you do really well. all i was saying was gb1 makes most the cvs want to bomb instead of scout. so for the high level bbs that i see qq'in all the time cause they didn't get enough vision. well you wanted the extra exp, so got to take the greedy cvs with it lol

also gb2 flag yea i agree with ya it sucks when they dc or just get killed in the first 2mins. but i also like the challenge
of tring to sink theres. just a team style battle is all. nice change of norm.

It's not greedy. And I have no problem with CVs that can effectively use bombers.

It's the failures that load the entire deck on to one pilot that either miss with them are left them be taken out by AA at default height or fighters.

In that case, they are just useless wastes of space and time.

i agree with ya there, i play both cv and bb. i just can't stop laughing at bbs in gb1. whose only word they know is noob cvs at the end of every battle they lose. lol
