Okay, so the last few day's i've been doing some hard research on the auto-split.. I've noticed this pattern, 3 win's in a game with the same people on the team, and the added new people, then the 4th game, the winning team, the players that are still together on the winning team that is, they are split up. I've done this in blitz's only so far.
So, pretty much this, all of the same players will be on the same team for 3 matches, if they win the first match. Yes, new players will be on their team, but that's because they have just joined the room. I was playing blitz with bbr_insuw last night, and I called it everytime when we were going to be on the same team, and on different teams. After every 3rd game with the win, the team would get split up. Then the 5th game, we'd all be back on the same team.

This is just a theory, could be wrong, could be right.

tnf gave some info on the auto split a while back, not sure if its on the new or old forum.

afaik win behaviour & win ratio weren't part of the calculations for team composition.
if you get the same people in rooms the room will often split the same way, making out the small differences with small tier ships, because they have a low "ship point value" and therefor will be used to balance out the last bits, leaving the main team the same.

Hmm. I just find it annoying. I like winning, but I don't think it's fair for other people stuck on loosing team to loose consistantly. Not my fault though, I guess I play to good. C:
