German godly AA = fast lvling and experts

MN has good AA too, I think the range trade off for the speed works great.

Well, which nation ships are you most afraid of while playing your UK BB line? Choose that nation.

both nations have good speed. the real big difference I think that will sway your decision is this:

Germany = best range in game but least firepower/damage

France = worst range in game but second best firepower (after UK)

French ships r fast. The bb5 does about the same amout of damage as a Monty.

French plays more like UK as in you can play a bit more aggresive. KM playes more defensive.

If we are talking BB4-6 Personly feel french have a horrible bb4 its like the L1 with nothing good about it.
BB5 is a great ship hits hard spred is meh and smaller ship that is hard to hit also can go 42 knots (play it like the L2)

BB6 is like a L1 2 gun speed wore setup will hit hard but the range is lacking compared to other bb6's. It is fast and can put alot of dmg on the target but has large back end and poor range.

I don't comment on the BB1-3 because frankly don't some are good some are bad low lvl ships are never really that easy to grind anyway comared to the bb4-5 and you will be spendig more time in the bb4-5

German

German bb4-6 German bb4 is the h39 at the moment the ship hits are very random. Being that from shot to shot the dmg is not the same. In general you will have worse guns as most guns in km are duel and generaly have poor spread compared to other nations. H39 will allow you to have BB5 range in you BB4 and that is a big +
The ship is far less forgving then L1 or L2 so you will need to learn to dodge shells.

BB5 is like the BB4 with a little better guns be it you lose some speed. Best way to say it is it is a great ship but it takes a better then average player to show you that it is a great ship. It has good range and has a great AA setup I would go as far as saying the best AA you can get on a BB

BB6 is the reward for having to lvl up the bb4and 5. Again you will find you have a ship with longer range but lower hitting shells. The ship is slower then most of the other bb6's so you will have to play carefull but overall a great ship. Again you will have some of the best AA.

French vs KM

KM will be a harder grind as you will really need to learn how to play BB to have good games with KM. If you have not learned how to sling your shots and dodge you will be food for most ships playing KM. That being said if you know how to control your ship KM can be a major pain to sink.

French was more of a wait till you get your BB5 nation for me. Some bb1-3 that i enjoyed paris being only 1 i can think of off the top of my head. Hated the I BB4 would say probobly the worst BB4 in the game out of all nations so expect that going in. French would be an easy grind compared to KM.

In regards to the BB6's French bb6's are fun to play in GB1-2 as they are good at going in and messing up the line. They are fast and strong so you just have to nose rush in. If you plan on playing any HA's and Fleet leauge stuff the french BB6 will probobly not be as useful. This is where the KM bb6 will shine. From the HA's that i have been in you will find the important games will come down to the BB6's that have the most range.

KM lvl 100 and 110 Guns are on the "short list" to get fixed at the moment. As in should be in the next patch or two if the Test Discussions are anything to go by. So very soon, you'll see many more using their H44's due to more consistency in their damage then is currently.
