but check your keyboard. There may be an "F Lock" key that you accidentally pressed. It toggles on/off the Function keys to other usages.

Try another keyboard?


I do recall a virus from quite a few years ago that disabled the F1-12 keys, but I highly doubt you have it, asuming you at least have a basic antivirus.
