No. You can't even mount enough deck to bounce bombs anyway on a US CV, although I think Midway may be able to. 0.2 belt and bulge till you lose a knot applies on CVs too.

Find me a CV that can load planes and 23" of deck to START bouncing T1 DBs and I'll be surprised. Sorry, but its not realistically possible. Even @ 25.5", most DBs still get through.


My Cvs all run:

.2 deck (Appears to help in HE vet death but not tested)
.5 belt (Maximum effective belt for USN Recommend .2 however since the difference is 10% between the 2)
XX Bulge (As much as you can fit without losing speed after the other armor)
2 Bulk (This according to myth helps Vet death, but I use it to OH an extra 500 DP Longer while damaged severely)

Cvs have very quick turns, if you listen for "Torpedo in Sight", hit G and quickly start dodging, you should be able to dodge any torp 4+ inches from you, any closer is near impossible, even if you were staring @ your ship.
