any opions on the USN EBB2? I know hands down warspite (UK EBB3 is supose to be best over all, but how does the Le Harve and Mississippi stack up?)

Le harve is the best hands down... buts its more like BB2 range... BB4 firepower though :D

IMO you get an ebb2 that is your highest or second highest crew, because theses ships will give you another option to the mundane task of levelling to whatever ship you wish to stop at in the nation line. Even though the French ebb2 is the best, do you really want to start a new line? If so, then you should choose the best, cause then you will play the game with less frustration. The LaHavre has decent range, and 12 guns that pack a whollop. It wont take out a bb6, but it would be a good alternative to anyother ship. Most of the pbbs are a waste of money and time as the event ships are much better. But your choice is up to you, hopefully this helps.

LeHarve is the better choice among EBB2s.

A) You can AW (definitely more than 10" of deck at 37knots) with BB3 range
B) You can SW (51/52knots OH) with BB3 range

Both above setups can be had, using a specific gun setup, duals but damage is halved (you only have 8guns)


C) You can use it with its regular gun/cannon setup (42 or 44knots) with BB2 range

This setup requires you to use the regular level 63(if I remember it correctly) quad guns, you can also make it run more than 45knots (not sure about the exact figure) OH by just using 3 quad guns instead of 4 (BB Normandie setup).

With the Le Havre, you can skip the Strasbourg when grinding up the MN ladder. Likewise, with the Resolution, you can skip Renown and Repulse when grinding up to Nelson/Hood. Both of these make the grind much more fun.

You're too high a level to use the IJN one, which lets you skip the IJN BB1, and the US EBB2 doesn't really let you skip anything, not that you need to since the USN has the most choice of any BB2 in the game.
