I returned after half a year of abstinence to enjoy a couple of gb2's in my bb and soon remembered why I left.
BB's are the most entertaining class to play, but they get their fun potential taken away by the long-winded waits - obviuously
not enough for the majority here, because there is still an abundance of bb's (compared to cv's).

5 minutes is the norm. And while the population is dying, all I see are old farts (veterans) waiting patiently
for the battle to start.

Give it the cure, morphine is only prolonging the suffering.

This is a valid point. Its the only reason why I do not play BB that much.

play a pcv with fts instead of bb5 if leveling up is your only concern.
play bb only when you want to have fun or when you can wait that much time.

put only 2 fts because you need to level up your bb crew, but you need some high level fts.
even 2 fts can give your team effective scout, but don's use T4s because their duration too short.
even leeching can give you very good experience, but win or lose makes huge difference for experience gain.

On kaiser room start normally within 3-5 min. I find it acceptable.

Maybe thats because of my stay on Nelson where a GB2 had trouble starting in the dead hours.

And I'd very much like to know what the comment about veterans waiting is suppose to mean...

Haven't seen a GB1 in a while on kaiser... Most people join tge GB2 for the extra xp it gives...

Lies! GB1s do not start at all!

Because of one simple reason: You need 16 ships to start, but only 14 BBs can join. And GB1 is less attractive than GB2 for all shared XP shipclasses, aka all shipclasses but BBs.
