You use them like a gun therefore you need to set a right angle before actually shooting.

Also... don't install Auto FCS.

Thanks for the replies. Should I use it on all R mounts? I have a DDX ship and use the amidship R mount for projector and the rests are gun turrents. I put shells on locker A and then the HH ammo on locker B. I switch to locker B, increase the angle and tried to fire. I just sprays the ammos right in front of me.

i dont even suggest to use HH its cuts exp and it cost like 500 per bind shot

If you are new to the game I suggjest you start a new crew, and start working torwards your capital ship, which are BB or CV (and SS depending on your views torwards the game)

If you try to get as much attack so you can lvl up as fast as you can is fine, but if you are new to the game you need to learn how the game works, tactics, ect.

Play the game how it was meant to be played. Guns for attacking ships, and HH for attacking Subs.

Thats all I have to say...I am irritated about this topic because I hate playing the game and a dumb DD or CL comes up with 4 bars next to their names and a medal and kill me within a matter of seconds with HH....being able to shoot a salvo every 5-7 seconds cause of elite gunners :/

I have HH that I won in drops and have over 3000 HH binds that I've gotten thru drops.

I used to have Depth Charges on the midship mount of a DDX which meant I had to get really face to face with SS's.
That meant torps closeup with dodging salvos from BBs that are covering the SS. It was a dance with death.

I got rid of the DCs and mounted the HH on on the mount amidship with binds in the A locker of the DDX. Nothing in the B. I Put a level 30 accuracy gunner with about 30 vets, 60 experts and the rest rookies in the midship slot.

Big difference.....can clobber subs at a distance....even with Auto. Level 30 reload gunner in the slot will work too.
Probably can get buy with a lvl 20 to 25 in the slot but all my gunners are above that.

You can get rid of bulge since you are not facing torps as much which allows you to lvl up crew which makes your DDX even better.

Wow! I could not thank you guys enough for all the tips and advice. Anyway, I just got an Atlanta but haven't used it yet. I'll leave the HH topic perhaps until such time that I feel confident enough to join GB's and use HH for Subs.
