Well by technical forum rules, not allowed to mention names or thread will be locked/binned. I'd rather keep it up and laugh at it, than have it taken away. However, I will say this is on their website in public viewing. Therefore, if you search for it you will probably find it.
This one may or may not be more laughable. This player tries to put their input on what he/she thinks is good for trading in NF.
"disclaimer: I am not responsible for any loss of credit. All decisions to purchase sailors are your own.
1. Buy low, sell high
-classic rule. Buy when people put things on trade, and sell them at prices that someone who is really desperate would consider. For example, if I find a lvl 80 usn bve +12 FP for 10m, I may sell it for 38m for a 28m profit. Check the trade tab often to see if any new sales have appeared.
2. ALWAYS check base before making a purchase that consumes more than 10m. Pay attention to Boosts, Vets, and Experts
3. Be at least 95% sure you can sell for at least a 20% higher price before buying. I usually shoot for around 50-100% profit
4. Avoid buying certain no-sell items, which include:
-USN AA Gunners (useless as USN aa is done by rld gunners)
-IJN Pilots of any kind (too little demand, too much supply)
-KM FP, TB (too little demand, too much supply)
-UK DB (useless as UK TB are superior)
-*Restorers of any nation (sometimes, these make great items to flip. For example, once i bought a lvl 70 ebve KM rep for 8m, and resold for 30m. It all depends on the timing. This was done shortly after ss3 came out).
-USN/KM Gunners that were previously torpmen (you can tell by their stats)
-Unmatched pairs of gunners (if the stats are not equivalent)
-Unmatched torpmen
-Lone gunner/torpman
-Pilots (fp or bomber) that were classed from scout late. (you can tell by look at the stats. A real FP will have a much higher Fighter ability than bomber ability. A FP recently classed from scout will have FP and Bomber abilities very near to each other)
-Level 12s (these take forever to sell)
5. Look for high demand items like:
-Mid-High level USN Engineers
-USN Fighters
-UK TBs
-anything above lvl 115 (BB supports especially)
-IJN, KM Torpmen
-High level scouts
-Pair EBVE Gunners (cheaply priced)
-High level IJN AA gunners
-Fighter and aircraft based seamen
6. Pay attention to any events going on. This may spur impulse purchases. For example, if you know there is an expert % increase event, buy IJN, KM, UK AA gunners and sell for a much higher price during the event.
7. Don't have outrageous prices. Set them high, but be sure to keep them in the item's price range.
I've made over 2 billion using the trade system, but I've also lost a lot making stupid mistakes. Right now, I only have around 150-200M cause I've spent a lot of credits on my own crews. But don't be discouraged. Not too long ago when the trade system came out, I only had 2M. Within a week, I changed that 2M into 25M. Now, I can make hundreds of millions just through a few trades."
