What are the benefits of an elite sailor BB crew (aka 13/11 gunners, 13/9 engineers and repairers)? Is it worth the money to buy an elite crew?

elite gunners are completely unnecessary.
elite supports pretty much just allows for a lazier gameplay - you can make more mistakes and still survive.
+12s will be competitive enough

Elite repairers are awesome. For engineers, you want either 11eng11rep or better (12/11's or even 12/12's are fantastic).

Incorrect. In some cases, the sailors perform better. Especially for repairers, fighters, bombers among other classes.

With those classes, yes they are better. But I will take my 12/11/11 over elites any day.

What, you are saying you would rather have 12/11/11 repairers over elite repairers?

No, I'm just saying that I like them better. I would take elites any day, but I don't like spending money on them. It could be used better else where.

Elite gunners offer a nice advantage at low to mid-high lvls better reload and best accuracy but after lvl 100ish accuracy and reload abilities tend to cap out(wont get better) with supports like engys/reps elites are solid start to finish although running 12engine11repair has great advanages also(less reps needed) its all a matter of choice in my opinion elites are always a great choice and elite repairs are always top notch to have(specially in axis nations) with fighters/bombers/scouts i believe its now only boosted by fighter/bomber/aircraft ability not a combo of the 3 just the 1 its classed for but I dont know for certain.( used to be 11air/12fighter or 12air/12fighter was best)planesman/sonarman elites work great but also keep in mind all other abilities are +9 so rep/rest/engy etc are less helpfull to a "light" crew +15pot with 10/11/12(prolly a better option in my opinion) With a seaman elite potential / elite fighter / repair/ engy/ restorer etc seems to be the 6 million dollar question of witch way is best lotsa theories but no real proof have i seen yet. prolly best case senario would be +15 pot and +12/11/10 etc of desired ability for fighter repair torpedo etc. I dont know if this has helped you or just made this more confusing but thats my take on this or my advice I can give you.
