There is just as much to harp on about noob BB players as there is CV players. PPl think, "oh i cant see"
must be the noob cvs. ppl default to that as if cvs were the only ships in the game.

1)there will always be times when you cant see, thats the point of AA and fog of war.
2) this is when you run, not noob it up and lose it for your hard working CVs (the ones that do play good)
3)often times staying alive is the best way to play BB, even if you do no damage (why? b/c if you are
outplayed on one side of the map, chances are the better part of your team is on the other side, and you
losing a flank will fail them.
4) there is an equal chance noob CV drivers are on the other team to.
5) some ppl dont know what to do when they CAN see.
5) sometimes the wrong place and the wrong time meet up with your team, your capital ship zigged whn he
should of zagged, you get bum rushed, dis organized, and blame it all on the CVs. Lame.

lets get it straight, if your BBs dont understand tactics, "the line", or cant aim,
or who play for themselves by not syncronizing with other BB players, then it doesnt matter how good your
CVs are, you will lose. Its a TEAM problem, not a CV only problem.

I felt the urge to write this up because of 2 things
1) as a mainly BB player i get tired of ppl clearly not understanding the BB line, it messes up the whole team.
2) when i jump in my FW CV, no matter how good i do, or even if my team is STORMING 7 BBs to 1, i still
get FP complaints. Not that im flaming legit CV complaints, just pointing out that a great many complaints
arent valid in the first place.

Im not agreeing with poor CV play, im just stating an under the radar fact about NF.

BTW **  the ONLY point of bombers in warfare is strategic, not tactical. maybe some land defenses that
need to be bombed (that protect CVs when your team presses them in) Would make better use of bombers.

As a CV/BB/SS player i agree.
Every Ship line has its , um not so good player. As there grow in to the game, they will learn. As for Callling a CV noob, i feel thats when they dont know how to even play there ship.
There are tons different ways to set up a cv. FT W, FTRS with scouts , BW , BW with Scouts, Mixed FTRS heavy ect..

I was in a room last night All the BB4's and 5's went south leaving me in a Hood no less, to take no a Monty and a SY,& 2 bb4's. I had a good cv player and was able to knock off the SY before getting hammered.
OF course i was called a noob bb because i could not hold the north by myself.
So take complaints with a grain of sand.
Major problems is these ppl calling others noobs would most likely never say it to you in person. they get to hide behind there little flat-screen monitors and get to be mouthy little twits.

This was not even an issue over a year a ago before I took a break from NF. BBs launched their own scouts when needed, and if they needed CV support they would politely launch a Macro stating Fighter Support North, or South, etc..

Now days there is so much negativity, it is not wonder the community is not growing. Sure the SDE could use some blame, however when players like Zaff have to make an excellent post outlining the negative aspects of our community maybe those of us silent majority players shouldn't let a flaming bb player get away with playing the blame game.

I may not be "average and up", as a CV driver, maybe not even average, but I want to point out another little problem about being a mid-level CV.

It is frustrating to sit there with LVL40-75 FPs and just get eaten alive. And when I do FINALLY get some vision out there, nobody shoots!

I tried the whole "escort carrier" thing, loading locals and sticking close enough to the BB to take out the scouts and some of the bombers coming his way. I keep scouts up as much as possible, but no, not good enough.

When I am siting there with a half dozed enemy fighters circling me, and everything I lauch get shot down before I can get it off the deck, scraming that the "noob cv' isn't helping does not do a lot of good.

TKing your CV because he won't get out of your way, ALSO does not help.

I was asked today why I would take a CV forward,,, its so locals (the only ones with a PRAYER against the enemy ftrs) have range to cover your precious BBs! Do you think an at-level fighter can help you when the EBVE120s show up? Even the locals get eaten, but they can sometimes take a few with them.

Remember, if you want planes out there to provide sight, and if you want fighters taking out the enemy scouts and bombers and keeping your skies a LITTLE clear, you have to shoot what you see.

I see the same thing when I use my SS... SS is a MUCH better scout than ANY plane... one of the best things an SS driver can do is get in there and show where they enemy is.

But when you see them, SHOOT THEM! Regardless of what the SS bashers say, air is NOT unlimited, surfaced subs DO sink when they get it, and once they are gone, you lose the vision they gave you.

In a nutshell, during the battle, you are alpha or you are bravo. Not a clans member, not a fleet member, not a lone wolf. When you can get an advantage for your side, use it. When a CV shows you a target, sink it. When the SS shows you a target, sink it. When you see that your SS is there with 2 BBs and a DD, take out the DD! The SS will still be there to show you the BBs, and now he can STAY there and show you the BBs.
