Ok so I haven't played cv in a long while and I used to have a UK CV4. Then I quit and it's all crap from nerfs.

So I want to start a nice new CV but as it's been so long, and there have been many many patches I still
don't know about, so I am asking you guys for help :)

I'm thinking of Either US, MN, or KM CV. I'm not too fussed about the grinds and as for setup I'll
most likely go with a FP heavy mix with DB. So if I want I can FW or load a few bombs and have fun.

What I'm asking is how do all the planes stand. Fighter speeds/damage/best fps. Bomber damages etc.
I know when I played many moons ago on a CV it was KM>USA>UK=IJN for fps. But many things have changed.

And also which nation would be better for the mix.

I don't know the correct answer to this question, but I've heard that the best CV nation is USN.

In addition to comparing the planes, you should also compare the carrying capacity of the CV ships. I suspect (too lazy right now to look it up) that USN CVs can carry and load more planes. I could be wrong.

If you get a good answer, please post your findings. I'm interested to know the right answer.

I was gonna write a long post about how each is better in some way until I noticed you had a UK CV4 previously. I deleted all that crap.

Personally I would suggest MN or US. MN seem to be the only ftrs that usually tear through my USN lv99 bve ftrs. MN ship grind is longer though. USN is still my favorite to play...Plain and simple.

If I was doing it all again I would have gone MN though. I just came back like you though and didn't want to re-level a BB crew to grind my pilots faster & aa'ing for vets.

MN fighters are good overall while USN fighters are best overall.

MN fighters seem to be safe from any eventual nerf bat while USN figghters will be nerfed sooner or later (at least i hope so)

KM fighters are ok but they don't offer much cept for their higher than most firepower.

USN fighters are the best at everything.


USN has better torpedo bombers.
KM has better dive bombers
MN is average at both.
