Type 3 have a little bit more range but it's almost impossible to notice it so you're far better off just using T90s

As a BB1-3 you won't have enough range for linefighting anyway so just look for blind spots get in fire a salvo or tho and get out.

I'd have to disagree. IJN bb3 guns can be a somewhat effective linefight gun if used defensively, paired with the moderate hang time and quick reload with effective gunners. About the OP, I prefer the type 90s as their penetration (compared to the Type 3s) near and at max range (40-43) is enough to penetrate most AW setups.
