Try IJN 4.7" /45 Type 10 A or 6.1/60 Type 3 A and u Will love it it has more range than both of ur chioce and good rld if u have good DP gunner but if u not play IJN i suggest to use KM aa Gun for cuz RN AA need to hold class to gain rld like IJN but KM is not u only need good rld base sailor to make AA crew

Go KM for spam, MN for range, IJN for a mix of the 2.

Go RN for high damage, go USN/SN for a jack of all trades.

UK beat the crap out of KM in AAW
KM beat the crap out of UK in AA

In case it isn't clear yet.

Go KM. IJN AA is only good on bb4-6 and only with a wel planned crew. UK AA is basicly worthless except for using pompoms on an escort.

Btw better use the 4.1inch (lvl 55?) duals then the 3,46inch duals for KM. More range, more dmg more Ammo. only at lvl the 3.46 are superiore because of better reload but always if u can use the KM40s M-pro PE Hipper Moltke with KM40s on r-slots are real beasts.

RN AA worthless?

LMAO.

Those things may not have great range but the firepower their guns pack is usually enough to blow a hole in a closing bomber formation making it FAR less dangerous in just one salvo.

go UK to learn basic game mechanics first, because of it being so IMBA will be easier for you to not get pwnd&bored at start and get better at the same time..then you can choose any other nation after that

i would recommend KM for 2 reasons:
-best AA ingame (-> lost of experts!)
-hard gameplay but it teaches u gamemechanics better

(btw going RN would make u a noobish winning team joiner)

Pom Poms are cool when you put them on a Escort ship so you don't have to care about them too much. However RN BBs rarely sport enough T slost for pom poms to have enough stopping power against bombers.

From what i know the best RN AA gun is some kind of 5.25 but i won't say i'm completely sure whitch since they seem have a dizzying array of 5.25" guns.
I remember them having somewhat decent range (slightely less tham KM but they have nice range no matter what people say) and a firepower of over 100 per shell (Firepower like that can only be seen on somewhat exotic IJN 6.1"A that are usually only used on Yammy/SY and even them they can support only 2 of them... or some IJN CAs as main guns).


Howevver while RN has the firepower it's KM that has more range and reload making them much easier to use.


Oh and KM Battleships with the exeption of Gneisnau PBB and BB6 are pretty much rubbish,
