3 battles and only 3 battles they are at least atm kinda not worth it unless you have a low level crew, you can not remove the guns on the ship at all including the T slot guns. they all have bb4-bb5 range and damage and usually maintain a decent speed.
The bb3 rental is the best your going to get after that the bb rentals are not really worth much. Also the only way to rent a rental is to be in the fleet which owns the harbor.
