  • GB1 and Scouts

A  new change from 8 CVs to only 6 CVs in GB1 should make for easier scouting. 

I think most people know that with fewer CVs (and fewer fighters), the ability of scouts to support the team increase significantly.  BBs should now have more abilty to launch and control their scouts without waves of fighters dominating the skies.  
 
IMO, 6 CVs is the best setup from a tactical game perspective anyway and certainly gets the game started a lot quicker.

Then you clearly don't know how to micromanage your scout.

Micromanagement will only do so much against a persistent FW (Unless you have a T5 Scout,then thats a different story)

I disagree. I think there will be more blindness, at least on Kaiser Server that is.

I can confidently say that about 1/4 of Kaiser BBs do not carry scouts, and then 1/4 of those who have scouts don't use it. Among those who use it, 3/4 of them will send them at max altitude right into enemy AA Fire or fighters, then they start complaining about sight.

Very little people know how to micro a scout, and that needs to change. Then again, there's no way to change that. :(

Honestly, I save my scouts till I absolutely need them. Such as early game while fighters are loading, and end game when all cvs are dying. Fighter camped is the only problem I have with scouts and the inability of their use. I've AA sooo much that anytime I use planes, I make sure I can keep them alive long enough to do something about them dying (Shoot AA boat, Bombing target, or simply fall back). Most of the days Scouts can be pointless but they  have critical points where you MUST have them.

1
