if you dont want duds for km, just aim away from the enemy ship and it'll be a hit

You're lucky. IRL it was 70%+

The United States Navy is well-known for the Mk.14 Torpedo, the King of all duds.

So just shut up.

Trust me on this man, youll get used to it, i did, i no longer care when my torps dud. its just part of us sub, i just fire more torps then i need at things.

The Dud rate keeps some from crying about the  US subs being overpowered so as a US sub driver leave it as is ( mine runs from 25-50% in games) 

And learn to count on duds every target

i sugget to make do with it at the moment, and go to the sub discussion thread on test server forum, and voice your opinion there
