- planes should have a larger green circle on it ( aside from the one already on it when viewed as friendly ) coresponding to the radius of it's sight range 

- a new guide line with bigger hash marks optimized for "zoomed out play"

- a visible sonar radius around your ship when sonarman is loaded ( with a nifty sonar sweep graphic )

Of course i propose using that almost unused "secondary guideline toggle" that we only see for US AA in the F10 options
that way it can be turned off when not desired.
