This is probably a suggestion but it has more to do with general subject of the (out of event) lack of people playing and vet death discussions.

It is almost certain that the vet death rate is modified and at the moment people (or I am) are suffering more crew death. Everyone knows that the response to losing vets is to d/c. Whether this is right or wrong isn't what is important the simple fact is this means people turn off Navyfield and more often than not, in my case, I don't restart.

Therefore, my suggestion is to remove vet crew death completely, not only is it currently pointless as people d/c to avoid it but this means part of the game is causing people to turn off the game. There is a reason that casinos' are easy to get into but hard to find exits, NF needs to adopt this approach more and make people not want to d/c or turn off the game.
