You may have seen in Randy's update that we have changed our position on Border Humping.  It is now considered inappropriate and we will act when it is reported with evidence or seen in-game.

A judgement will be made on any report filed with evidence and that judgement is not one for debate subsequently.  To provide some idea of what we will look at to judge Border Humping:

-  Where it is a ship then we will consider it Border Humping when the ship goes Black in the border and is showing a heading/steer to remain in that area.

-  For aircraft it is when shadows are visible, but the aircraft are not or when there is very clear evidence the aircraft appeared from within the border.

Might want to clarify when the planes are south so there are no misunderstandings.

Yes what if planes are south (You can see if you press F8, but not if you do not press F8)

so, if i get myself stranded on the beaches with my cv and i launch a group of planes,
will that be enough to get me banned?

there's a lot of catches & possible abuse in this rule without further clarifications.

There is absolutely no way to tie down every single scenario in a ruling and yes there will be grey areas - if in doubt stay away from the borders.  You have the scope of what we are looking at and we will make judgements based on the evidence provided.  In terms of actions then we will start with warnings for first reports on this aspect and work from there for repeat offenders.

I assume for south the we'd need to be able to see their shadows in order to make it fair for AA?

are you assuming cv's get beached in the border islands because they have nothing better to do?

They get stuck because they dont watch movement of they ship as they need to pay attention to their airplanes, whilst being close to the BB line to not lose to much fuel.
Since the BB's take the fight to the borders the cv's will folow & get stuck there occasionally.

if you keep this rule up, you might want to improve the border alarm so we dont get into the REPORTA-ZONE, because by the time you hear the alarm as it is in a cv you can't get back on the map in time anyways..
