So i've got about 500 soft defense with lvl 85 average crew all Boosted with a 100 vets each. But I burned alot of experts doing it. I'm thinking about buying 1600 experts or so. Would that jump my Soft defense alot? Or not much?

If you've burned most of your experts you should see 100-300sd increase depending on nation/ restore ability of your crew.

Yes, putting experts and vets on your crew will increase SD.

thats if you are low level to do the conversions....

when you are higher levels you wont get many conversions unless you waste them all

i burned 20000 experts once.... most were above lvl 100...the only ones i got vets on were the lowest levels....i got  5 on a lvl 80s after burning 600 experts ..(ya a really good event eh) i felt SO ripped off

never again will i burn experts on a "200% conversion event" ...it cost me an arm and a leg to replace all those experts plus the points it cost too.... to me the events are a marketting scam to get us to buy more experts

This.

I only burn on sailors below lvl 80

Preferablely below lvl 60

Don burn any expters now, the converted rate had changed to sup low, I failed to convert first 10 vets with 60 expters with prem sub .I never fail to convert first 40 vets before. Just wait other convert event or use vets pack. Zx.

Don't panic, the vet rate has not been nerfed.  It hasn't been boosted for the event, but it hasn't been nerfed either.

I highly doubt that.
When I do vet conversions for my sailors I usually see the first very few failed conversions appear at about the 30-40 veterans mark.
Now I've had at least 5 or more fails on trying to get the first 10 veterans, that is with active prem.
