Hello everybody.

Today I ask you another question :

How, to, level, for, an, AIRCRAFT CARRIER FTW!

I want so much to have a professional crew on a german aircraft carrier full with Stukas and TA 152 C1.

I am ready to start again ( this is my third restart ) in order to have a powerfull crew ( elite sailors excluded ).

What stats should a Bridge Operator should have?

What stats should a Fighter should have?

What stats should a Dive Bomber should have?

When should I class my sailors?

Where do I get more Points and XP?

If someone can help me with info it will be great, a very detailed guide and some Points, I am nearly out of them ( only 300 points left ).

I want to know everything is possible in leveling an Aircraft Carrier, every detail, every information will be good.

PLEASE DON'T TROLL : exclamation point : exclamation point : exclamation point : one :

For the Fatherland and for the Fuhrer!

basic guide to CV's here:

http://navyfield.com/Community/Forum/View.aspx?num=184&searchtype=0&pagecount=0&searchvalue=&sort=5&category=A04&page1=1

also click 'view old data' and search there for tips and guides.

as its all been written so many times before.

What stats should a Bridge Operator should have? i like a base 12 REP or RESTORE for my non BB BO's with a decent 11 or 12 in the POT. its worth noting (if you dont know already) you can roll +15 POT stats so a 11 or 12 POT is common.

What stats should a Fighter should have? +12 in FIGHTER. if you can find some with 10's or 11's in REP or REST great.

What stats should a Dive Bomber should have? +12 in BOMBER. if you can find some with 10's or 11's in REP or REST great.

When should I class my sailors? on time. unless you know what your doing. then late classing can work on fighters but do it wrong they will be a pile of junk. so always class on time.

Where do I get more Points and XP? win. get prem. AAing. when your rolling your CV crew keep all the decend sailoirs (yes even ones you wont use) so you can sell them for creidts and points. if you re in a fleet they can normally help with points and most long term players have far more points than they will ever need.

To cut down on pilot death, you will want a medic.   He works only in a CV support slot.
The critical stat is Potential.   The higher the potential, the greater the medical ability to reduce crew death and you will have lots of deaths in your pilots.    Hi repair/restore is a great addition to the medic.

You will want to build a stable of pilots as you will be able to add more as your CV lvl goes up.
Do not make the mistake of having pilots with large differences between levels.  Nothing is as bad as having a 25 lvl difference between fighter or bomber pilots.   So keep swapping pilots to keep the experience points the same.

Also, the more vets and experts you have, the better the pilots will perform.  You may only want to keep a handful of rookies on each pilot as "cannon fodder" to minimize skilled sailor losses.   And of course, recruit up after each battle if necessary.

As a CV 1 or 2, you will probably want to use local fighters at first.   They are short ranged defensive planes but can and will bring down higher tiered fighters.   The standard T1 &T2 fighters will often be brought down by higher tiered fighters.   The standards can be used for scouting, hunting enemy scouts, and intercepting incoming enemy bombers but in fighter to fighter combat, you will probably be outclassed.

You will also find that being a CV driver is often a lot of work.  Multi-tasking is a requirement for a CV driver.

Finally...this is a game.  Drive the CV and Fly the Planes the way YOU want to have fun.

Not sure if my scenario is completely what you're looking for, but I recently put my UK PCV on drydock and began with a new Italian CV crew.  Here's how I am proceeding:

1) You have to roll the dice and get a BO, unless you get a +15 Pot, the best you'll get is probably a +14.  Take it and move on.  BO stats don't play a big role in CV play anyway.

2) Grab a few million credits and head over the Navyfield trading system, empty out some spaces in your headquarters and begin the draft process for new crew.

3) Search the For Sale section and buy up at least 5 +12 Fighter pilots at Level 12.  I bought 7 +12 FPs.   That's what I use on my UK PCV with 8 pilot slots and the 7 FPs are quite manageable when I go FW heavy (1 TB in reserve).   Then grab 4 +12 Bmbrs the same way.  You'll now have 11 pilots you have to nurture from L12 on up.  I also grabbed a pair of +12 ACC GUNNERS.

4) Start with your DDs, CLs, and you'll get a CA to help your crew.  Upgrade them to Support Sailor and they can continue to operate torpedoes and small guns on the CLs (T slots).  All you care about is getting them up to L40/L44 so you can convert them to Fighters and Torpedo Bombers.

On my Italian setup, I've rotated my pilots through the 6 available slots (2 T slots + 4 support slots) on the CL and now CA.  All of my Pilots made grade before my BO made CV1 at L57.

I did not invest in any supports (Engr/Rest/Rep) because I did not want to take precious slot time exp from my pilots and figured I would just buy another L40/60/70 support guy when I need him.

I run as many pilots on the CV as possible (max 8) to uplevel them as much as possible.

I'll be able to swing between FW and BW and plenty of tactical setups in between as necessary when I'm able to get the CV5 or PCV.

Also, when I get some Olives, I'll just boost them with Prem and they'll be competitive with Elites.

Additional item: I had to go to the Dice to get a Seaman set up. None available on Trade system. I  Could not roll a +12 Fighter, so I ended up with a +11/+10 Fighter/Bomber seaman.  I'll drag him along and try to keep him leveled as much as possible.  It won't be of much value or using him much before the CV5 or PCV anyway.

Note: Italian specialty is +2 Reloading and +2 Fighter Pilot abilities.  The Fighter ability  puts them on par with KM and US FPs
