if i mount aa shells on my dd escort, will it automaticly fire? and if i mount guns on t slots, will it fire them?

Yes they will fire the AA shells at planes if u use a turrent with AA capability. And no T slots dont work at all on escorts.

Yes, your escort will automatically shoot at planes, sometimes.Sometimes they just wave at the planes overhead instead.And yes, if you put guns and gunners in the T slots they will also work on an escort.Torps wont work on T slots though.
