  • point of playing RM?

Once all the preposed nerfs have happened, what's the point of playing RM?

They will have large ships, weak guns, slow reloads and slow speeds, so what's the point of playing them after the nerf?

They are supposed to have small ships, fast reloads and fastish ships.

Just because you can't blockshot them 100% of the time doesn't make them OP.

The RM BB's aren't Lineships, I repeat they aren't lineships.

I'm pretty sure the sprites can't be changed, so they will still have small sprites for the small BBs.

I guess the reload won't be much altered but yes, their damage should be nerferd for a few ones (I think).

The things that make them OP is, for example, a PBB with a 40k salvo and guns that can't miss ...

You can't miss with some of the other Nation's guns, from what I can tell by my observations.

I assume you are thinking of Vany's and QV's lazer guns ...

 

Vanguard is the BB4 with a 30k salvo

QV is a BB6

Yes, they have laser guns, why exclude them while hammering on the RM? Trying to keep your Laser guns are we? ;)

Are you that narrow-minded?

QV isn't really good BB6 wise

Vanny is a BB4, with a normal BB4 size. It's damage is 30k per salvo, less than the RM PBB and BB4s.

The things that make them OP is :

small size + high damage + lazer guns ("worse" than UK ones cause 25 degree vs 30)

 

BTW I don't have any UK BB. I only have one BB6: the nebraska. So please don't tell me that I wan't to keep my lazer guns BBs.

This will be my last post here since this thread is a "don't nerf my OP ship" that you don't have yet btw.

 

And FYI, I'm sure they won't nerf all RM BBs, only a few ones ...

Define 'normal' BB sizes please?

If every ship class was the same size and style it would be rather bland don't you think? 

The Guns have been nerfed so they are fine, what you moaning about?

How about we nerf pro-players? As they utterly dominate games, lets go around chopping their right hands off.

The gun wasn't nerf enough. It was a fail nerf.

Further, you don't give a low angle gun with the ability to nuke armour at low angle, high damage. 

  Because of this, no, bb4 can counter it. All current BB4 spread doesn't even allow to land a full salvo on the RM bb4 properly. Even the best spread BB4 which is currently UK L1, MN Richelieu and IJN Yamato won't be able to land a full salvo.

Save the argument about learn to aim. It's pointless to aim, if the RM bb4 hitbox, agility and maneuver makes it uselss to attempt aiming it.


Also I am not sure why someone said it has low range BB..... We just tested 2 days ago and it has Yamato range. Giving a ship high damage, low angle, long range, and ability to rush is wrong.




Adding the fact that it has an outstanding submergence, even then, landing a full salvo, won't be enough because the ship has ability to absorb damage.



Point of RM is to balance it correctly. Because right now it has so much overpower ability, it is why the reload suck right now and the spread suck. Once, it is properly balance, it will have the reload advantage, a spread fix. However, forget about having the RM bb4 hitting 40k+.


You don't play a nation just because it is new, or just because it is Italy. If that is the case, then you might quit playing NF.

I've just landed a (real) full salvo on an RM BB4 that I've already damaged, driving a Nebby.

It wasn't a kill ...

That<s the point, even if you land a full salvo on the RM bb4, because of its submergence. It will still have the ability to retreat with OH and or live.

Of course give it just 600* damage for it's shell, how dare a BB4 not fight in a line! How dare a BB be small, how dare a BB4 be a counter to the BB line!

The italian navy in my view are a counter to the KM and or US navies in my opinion, thats why I play them :)

*Of course the shells need a nerf, but not much of a nerf though about 100 or so points should suffice.
