  • Ship order change fix

If you set the order of your ships a file is created in  My Documents\NavyField\Account folder

it will be named as follows "yourname._lst" this is where the oder for the harbor is stored.

Once you have everything set the way you want you need to navigate to that file and rt click and copy and place a copy in a safe place like the folder  My Documents\NavyField.

By doing this you can restore the Harbor order when it gets messed up, bu copying it into the account folder and replace the file there or to add it if it is gone.

PLEASE NOTE there is one file created and if you switch from one server to another your settings will be gone and reset. This is where you can copy the saved file back and you will be all fixed up.

Why does it even mess up anyway? shouldn't it have been tested to ensure it is working 100%?

EDIT: Yes - any graduate programmer could fix this easily. But lets see how long SDE's expert team take to get it right.

Actually it does work until you switch servers and then the harbor difference causes the file to reset or in the case of just logging in to be deleted. If you move a ship in the other server it will make a new file for that server.

Of course when you switch back you see the effect. but really how many play both servers all the time and switch back and forth.

Even putting a ship in HQ and then back out it put it where I wanted, so mostly working but can be improved.

Actually, it messes up without playing both servers. It messes up if you move your ship(s)/sailor(s) into/out of your HQ on the same server, even without loging into the other server.

this hasn't been a problem for me, maybe once i rmember reshaping my HQ. Seems a bit complicated for a simple trucky like me mate, but thanks for the info..One problem i did have at one stage was manouvering around this NF site. not all pages have a link back to the homepage. How many people know that "backspace" will jump you back to it?  I found that by accident, great time saver. BBr, can you see if that might be a good thing to mention on somewhere?
