RAM is the major issue with this game, I'll admit I lag due to RAM and not my net connection.

NF takes up quite a bit of memory, this is partially due to a memory leak that NF has.

Randy tried to say the recommended RAM for the game was 8 gigs? I call BS on that.

8gigs of ram? hahaha MW3 doesnt even ask for that much...

Actually, it can be. Because NavyField uses a very outdated system based on sprites and it can easily grope up a lot of memory.

I call complete BS on the "Recommended Minimum RAM" requirements that have been suggested. My 4 GB RAM laptop decided to bite the dust three weeks ago, so I have resorted to playing NF on my 10 year old 764 MB RAM Windows XP IBM Thunkpad. Aside from loading ships slowly in waiting rooms, I have not experienced ANY lag issues in-game. Furthermore, I have also had NO in-game crashes at all! No mini-map bug CTDs, no waiting room never loading crashes, NOTHING!

What they need to do is complete and patch the Windows Vista/7 compatability code because it seems that their outdated code is what's causing a lot of the issues with these newer OS's.

I agree, i used to play on a IBM T42 Thinkpad with XP SP3, and it only had 768mb of RAM. Never crashed in a GB/FL/HA, ever.
