The only ellites worth is Ellite repair, else, any 11/11/11 or 12/10  are better in overall. That is needed for pratically any BB.

The only exception comes to repairman since, there is a SD cap, you dont need to bother about it.

I suggest you to do so, it's a convenient way.

It takes time to roll or looking for someone that actually sell one. However, it is worth it.

what he said.   and 5/3 engy /rep set up means beyond a shadow of a doubt you need engineers with HIGH repair stats.

as in 12/10 minimum. 12/11 is even better. becasue you are going KM, you wont reach the rep cap with 3 OVERVETS elite repairs. so you need 12/10 at least to come reasonalby close.

FOR UK:::

elite BVE rep = about 5.5 M true ability in repair @120. overvets is more.

12/10 engy = about 2.2 true ability in repair @ 120.

5x 12/10 engy = 11M TA

3x EBVE rep = 16.5 M TA

total= 27.5 TA (plus BO, AA, M.gunners, scout)

UK has UBER rapair.

with KM you get less. you wont make it.

you need to reach 35M true ability in repair to hit the cap.

can you see now why you need 5 12/11 engineers and 3 elite reps? not that you NEED to hit the rep cap, but you mine as well if you are taking the time to buy/roll.

an alternate way to see it is that you need good rest. hab in at least 1 engy...

remember that Reps and Engys give SD, but Engys also gave Rep, while rep dont give u Engy stat.

so if you are going for 5 engy 3 rep config you need to lisen to the guy just posted above, but if you are going for a 4/4 config (most common in any nation) then rep. hability its not so critical, due to the fact that your reps are going to reach the cap (well BVE of course).

There is when rest. hab comes into play...

its very common to use engys not only for BB, you will use Engys in PCV, SS and even in low ships while lvling other sailors, so having a good SD stat will give you extra life in times when you cant repair fast enough and your ship have low life point.

So getting at least 1 Engy with stats like these: 12 eng. 11 rest. 10 rep its your best choise, considering that you are for shure going to need this hab.

for most SS you also need good rest. hab for your engys, due to the fact that in a SS3 you can run only 1 engy

You don't need a good restore stat if you plan on B/v/e. Get elite repairers, and roll engineers with a good repair stat.

Would getting elite Engys and delay classing them get better results?  

Does the game actually punish you for buying Elites?
