Since we are all arguing about HA and whats not. Why don't SDE make HA a profit for fleets. Whats the benefits of owning a Harbor? Why should we fight to play HA and there is no reward.
Only thing we get is to play Unique OUT CLASSED BBs. So before we do the Smoke removal Why not implement perks for playing HA.

Also be able to Let anyone rent the rentals and the fleet that owns the harbor getting a cut out of the money they spend. A harbour can make what 500mil per day(Estimate) Why shouldn't the holding fleet get atless 5% or 10% I mean it will make guys wanna do HAs.

 

Personally I only do HA because its the only fun the game has at the moment. We need some kind of Benefits out of playing HAs Period.

Smaller fleets would wanna do HA to make a little money..cmon.

500mil per day? Nowhere even close. US and UK does around  5mil per day. IJN and KM about 1mil. Kaiser server.

This wouldn't make smaller fleets attack, which is the problem atm.

If you make being in a fleet who own a harbor more rewarding, then more will join a harbor owning fleet....smaller fleets will get smaller, megaflotas will get bigger and there will be even less HA's.

If you know you have no chance of taking a harbor you aren't going to start doing them because the owner gets a reward. You'll just join the owner.

How BB6 alone is 50mil..im saying what a harbor makes...from guys spending on buying ships/repair etc.

Cap it at a high amount, say 100% (double). Then if people don't like the tax, then they band together using the alliance system to take it from them (that needs to be brought out at the same time).

Have multiple harbours per nation to have competition between tax rates for a nation. Have the HA's at the same time as the same nation harbours so its really hard (but not impossible) to hold them.

That would be great, but only works if they can implement an alliance system.

£10 says they cant.

Any tax changes should be brought out so they do NOT affect newer players, so only ships over BB1 are affected by the tax.

 

Apart from that, alliance system and high tax rate is the way to go but there should be some sort of caveat applied to the tax system.  It shouldn't be the case that for whatever reason 1 harbour can be set at 100% tax permanantly.
