*edit* Basically TL:DR: Give us the right to ban scoutless BBs that can carry scouts.
They are more often than not scrounging off those of us who do use our scouts, and we have to waste more effort into scouting than we should, to make up for the lack of someone elses scout.
I have to sacrifice a slot for my scout so why should I have to sacrifice it so someone else can level up an extra sailor instead of helping the team to be able to see?
I've lost count of how many battles I had this morning (let alone any other day) where I was close to being the only one scouting north or south, and when my scout died, we went blind.
Why should we be forced to play with these lazy people?
Scouting is an important part of a BB, no more than it is important for a cv to provide at fighter cover or bomb/tb something.
When BBs go 1v1, if one person chose not to scout, it'd be 99% the time the scouter who would win.
GBs are no different, just with more ships. The little ships get blasted out the water more often than they can stay close long enough to be of any scouting value. CVs are busy providing FC or bombing something and thus also need some sort of vision to be of any use. Our BBs are designed to carry scouts and use them for a purpose. SDE(or TNF) stopped people being able to use the Revenge with triple 8''s and armour whore it to the max. They make BB6s with fixed guns, so they are already forcing people to use the ships as they were MEANT to be used.
Times have changed, Why can't the rules be updated to reflect this? No one goes in the AW normal rooms, so don't even bother saying to make them AW's to give me the 'right' to ban freely. GB is the 'new AW normal' room. Let the ability to justifiably ban someone be updated to follow suit.
I don't want to ban freely, and be banhappy. I just want the right to ban people who don't scout because they prefer a few more exp on another sailor which is not only unhelpful, but down right arrogant to expect other people to do part of his job for him.
I have already started.
When i host, I ban BBs with no scouts. Report me all you want, I shall take the 'bans' that I receive from being reported for doing it.
And when that ban is over, I shall come back, when I host, I shall ban non scouters again.
And again, and again, until I get a permaban if need be. Someone has to take a stand.
If its just me doing this, I'll just get continually banned. If others who feel the same follow suit, and enough do it, they will have to listen and at least consider it.
I'm not doing this just so I can do what the hell I want, I feel this is very mucch a big part that needs sorting out, like they finally sorted out the Border Humping.
But if people want to regain at least some of the decency that NF once had, give us this right, and ban BBs with no scouts!
