i found today a player, who i used to see in a L2 screaming at noob CVs (nice..), that is now using a CV5. at the start of battle he puts up an huge number of bombers and sends them to the other side, but, if you kill this wave of bombers he will retreat. it's now 3 times that i play in the same battle with this player, and it' s 3 times i kill his bomber and again 3 times that i see he quit, leaving the other team hardly umbalanced, it'a a cv5 after all... and he also have Fighters in that cv.

i think we can't do nothing to stop him doing this, but he gave me an idea: Should SDE puts a penality for the players that retreat continuosly?

it could be like a X minutes he can't play after he retreated Y times in Z minutes

will probably take them a few years like with borderhumping o.0

but then most of the mods wont understand the meaning of that rule as with borderhumping and insted make up their own vertions of that rule

I guess posting suggestions in the suggstions subforum is too much to ask.

But regardless, I wouldn't dare let SDE touch retreating, they'd probably break every aspect of HAs.

Retreating should give 0xp. Unless there's only one nice SS left that would never hide for 3 mins of course...

But where do you draw the line? I mean if I'm in a cv and all thats left is a couple of AA CLs Ill probobly retreat. Same for DDs and subs or whatever else. Either way I dont care about exp so I guess it dosnt matter for me.

And @ OP: When you get stuck with players like this sometimes its best just to disconnect and move on to the next room. Or even better yet not even playing in the same game as them. It gets to the point where its pointless to even try when you have players taking up limited slots and putting no effort whatsoever into completelting the objective of the game and trying to win. I would say its the better alternative to getting angry or frustrated at a game that is supposed to be fun.

Bomb them... If you don't have bombers ... too bad for you! And I'm sure you can manage to bomb AA CLs, don't you?

Subs and DDs should be fighting right?

Anyway, why draw a line, if you retreat, you are handicaping your team therefore you shouldn't get any xp.

I managed to get few people banned by reporting team de-balancing.

Get screenshot, reporta, if lucky he will get instant ban, if not, cross your finger that he gets several warning.

I just worry about whether the penalty will apply to people who crash too.  That would just stink if it did...
