  • Fix escort AI for 4.7s?

When are they getting fixed, cause they're still shooting like they were before the 4.7s were nerfed to hell and back?  As a result, the AI can't hit anything.  Suppose while we're on that, why not just restore the 4.7s back to how they were since newer nations already have far more op'd AA guns.

Actually, I've seen escorts being quite effective in sinking the ship it was supposed to protect when a SS surfaced on the other side of it.

 

Shooting THROUGH the protected ship IS an option apparently when your escort :D

Escort AI seems to be semi-decent with pompoms. Otherwise I'd say forget it.

High level 3.46 as well, but it lacks the ability to be effective against circling planes due to the fact that it constantly changes angles and gun directions. Instead of anticipating where an aircraft will be its too focused on where an aircraft is.

True, but 4.7s are a bit of a different story, they'll just constantly fire at the ground at planes out of range just because they used to be in range before the nerf.  Not to mention they'll always be firing at the wrong angles whenever a plane does eventually come to range save for 75 degrees.

Because the slower a gun reloads the worse it will be. The AI shoots at where the plane is at that moment, not where it will be.
