  • Lagggggggg & Freeze still... OMG !!!

Ok enuf is enuf NF !! This is total BS when you can't play a single game without freezing or lagg..... #1 It is NOT my computer that's the problem... #2 I'm a paying Premium player along with countless others here... So why not just stop the game all together for 2 days to figure this problem out ??? I know for a fact I'm NOT the only player having these issues.... So why keep giving us the same ole answers "it's our computers"... Just fix the problem or i'm quitting !! I have NEVER played a game with any lagg what so ever and now I can't even get a decent game on NF because of game lagg/freeze.... I'm wasting my rant/breath cause I know somebody will suggest I do this or do that... It's NOT my computer that's the problem !!! Grrrrrr Fix this

I am experiencing lag while playing also and I have no idea why. It's doubly frustrating because this is literally the only game I've ever had lag issues with. Only NavyField... And since NavyField is the only game I lag in, suggesting it's my ISP would not make since because, theoretically I'd have to lag in all the other online games I play too, right?

Both of you need to learn to hit the stickies in this forum; perhaps then, you will find some possible solutions to some of your lag and freeze problem(s). =.=

I cannot answer for UknoMe, but I can tell you I have tried and re tried the solutions listed in the stickies. I'm still looking for solutions and trying new things in hopes a fix will pop up.

Perhaps it's you that needs to learn to not assume so much.

There's a fine example of a suggestion without knowing I've been in talks with a mod for some time now... did all the things suggested in forums and by fellow players... Heck I even re-downloaded a fresh NF install 14 times !!! YES 14 times in one week... So unless you know somebody that works as a Dev or Programmer for NF then don't suggest things I've already tried... Thanks but I've all but givin up on NF fixing this Lagg/Freeze !! Good to see someone else post that's having the same issues tho :)

Their are hundreds of players who play the game without issue, and only a couple vocal handful that can't play. It's not something that effects everybody. Theirs a wide range of computer types and installed software that can cause issues. You can't test for anything and 95% of the time it's PEBKAC.

They're not going to "turn the game off" to try and fix a problem that exists for a small fraction of the players.

I had the same problem with lag. I changed my ISP (same speed), now the lag is gone. :) It seems some ISPs are having problems with packet loss regardless of connection speed (datas are sent by packets or little bits and pieces, not as a whole file). Now, my new ISPs data sending capability is more fluid and consistent.

This worked for me. It might work for you too.

Now if only i can solve my crashing issue at the waiting or loading room, then NF will be a wonderful experience again.
