i searched on the forum about seaman, i found that he helps other sailor's aility, just a bit, but still helps.

i have a seaman (lvl 86 BVE) for my CV and i wanted to see i he realy helps.

i put him on a ship got 100 SD

i put a restorer alone in a ship got 340 SD

i put togheter in a ship got 440 SD

the restores's ability didn't get boosted at all o.O

what's the problem? an 86 BVE seamen doesent have sufficient ability to help at least 0.x% another sailor's ability? :O

The harbor screen doesn't include the seaman's boosting ability in its calculations to display SD and overheat speed values.
Specifically for restore/SD, if you take 2 ships with the same displayed SD, but 1 has a seaman on board while the other doesn't , the ship with the seaman will show a bigger SD if hit in game.
I don't know what base restore your Seaman has, but don't expect much more than a 3% boost to ability at your lvl.

Thank you, this is exaclty the answer i was searching for :) i know it probably will never go over a 5% boost, but 0,0% was really too low. i looked at restore because it was the only that i could see easily on the harbor screen...

do you also know if the seaman boost to the other sailor's abilities are a X% boost or it adds an amount X to those abilities?

It's not 100% sure, but it seems to be a percentage increase.
When testing restore and reload I got the same percentage increase to ability despite a great difference in base ability on the sailors that were affected. With fixed added amounts, 1 would have shown a much smaller ability increase percentage wise.
