Ask some of the bigger and better fleets like BlackSun and Jedi, just message it in rooms, put up a trade room with the "i messed up" title. If i find you i can help.

The best option for you right now would be forget about exp gain and concentrate on credit gain. For that, Blitzkrieg is what you should play.

Blitzkrieg is very good for earning credits, but not so good for exp. If you keep playing the other game modes and specially GB, you will get very good exp, but you won't have the credits needed for your next ships.

I know its a hard thing to do now that we have an event, but seeing your problem, it would be the best choice. Your wins will still count in blitz and you would still be able to get the boxes, just not the extra exp. 

i personally don't think new players get enough credits/points anyway. it sucks that a mistake like that can make people give up on NF, what server are you on? i will help you out with credits and or points, but yea stick to blitzkrieg rooms atm

DO NOT use Hedgehogs. Very Expensive.

Try using AA guns, can make some more credit that way, and when your Bridge Operator is over lvl 31 and you have 50k point and credit you can ask other players for money.

Either play blitzkrieg or AA, these two get you a decent amount of credits and AA also gives you more experts which will help later on.

Here are some more ways:

1. At level 30+ you only need 50,000 credits and points for beeing able to trade.
Open a tradetroom and ask for some more points and credits when you have those 50k each.
Some new players might be to proud to ask but believe me its cuts a lot of time. Doing this you should be prepared for players that just laugh at you instead of giving anything. But I'm pretty sure there will be a high level player helping you out within maybe half an hour. (As I see it has been done by posters before i guess)
I was helped that way when I was at low level and so do I when I see them.
But be warned: it works for low level players only and will stop when you reach CA/BB1 level probably

2. You can ask for points only. You will get them within minutes normally cause high level players have more than enough of them. Roll good new sailors with those points. Look for base 12 ones ( good (10+) repair/restore as side stat makes them even more worth / gunners need good accuracy and reload). Play them to level 12, class them and sell them in trade area or trade system (via HQ). Rolling a handful good sailors might take 2 hours but if they are good you can sell them for several hundred thousand credits each.

3. Look for a fleet you might to join. There are fleets out there that assist new players with knowledge about the game and should also provide the credits/points needed for going ahead. If you use their temaspeak / ventrilo / ... you can ask your questions right away.

4. During the special "spice event" we have right now: get your gifts from this webpage (click spice event banner from homepage). There might be nice premium items for starters and even some points and credits for you.

As said AA your way there, however if your on kaiser pm Me and will help you out with some credits and points.

 

If you cant class sailors because of lack of creds/points STOP using them. Take them off your ship untill you can class them properly. They will be no fun to use and near unsellable. If you have to start a new crew for a different line and earn creds/points with that.

 

 It is a crumby setup for new players... it should be changed to be more welcoming. It has been put on the SDE table, dont know whats going on with it.
