  • North boarder issue.

This is getting a little rediculous. CV's are intentionally using the north boarder to avoid being sunk and avoid repair costs.  It needs to be a sinking when you go across and removed from battle not a reteat.

This has been going on for years and the last time it was discussed everyone concluded that it was bad form to deny the xp to the winning team by doing this. If my memory serves me right those cvs deliberately leaving got screen shot and reported. Now if tnf did any disciplined is another story im sure.

technically it is not against ANY rules to retreat not a lot TNF can do as disciplinary- sad people do it but cant be helped and I sure as hell use border if im in a bb and there is 1 dam sub who decides to keep running away for 5mins.

Is there a way to make any ship that retreats gain no exp/credits/points? (But keep any crew death) This could be the solution we are looking for.

No problemo.

At HA or HD its pretty normal to leave at border to save the big BB and CV for next round.

But still the CV that leave is loosing anyway.

I rather get 1 point from a win, than a milion for a loose.

... at least for ships, and leave it for aircraft, if that is possible.

They can fix this by revising the "no way out" maps and moving the islands/land mass on the north border a little south.  Therefore, ships will not be able to leave using the north boundary.  Keep the boundary of the planes the same.  They can keep the ship boundary so it will not affect other maps.   "no way out" maps is supposed to be no way out.  Some other maps are supposed to let ships leave the game.

It would be wonderful if subs would leave when they're the last one left.

Seems silly to whine about this. Faster you're out of the battle, the faster you're in the next. You're really not missing out on anything.

From 1st look - it's not big deal if an CV or BB is retreating, sometimes it's done just to save the officers from last "lucky" shot...

with BB it also happens at borderless maps, when they run all the game to the border and then leaves no chances for revenge to those who had balls to pursue this coward while he outranged them.
(hit&run - is a tactic, retreat - is cowardness). It's only about GB kind of battles...also the rushing alone kamikazes are the same bad players (for their team) as the waiters behind mother's dress ones.

But the biggest damage from the repeating "northern border" CVs runners is to the whole game. 3 cowards will start and play only there (north) caring only about their ships. South will be in deep sh1t over and over again. (if they  think that their planes can reach south - they don't understand that flying for minutes over the empty map to the destination - is nothing but losing of fuel, and even more is losing of time, while they will reach the area - the battle is already lost).  I have nothing against noobs - not all can play good from start and also not all can do it in all their battles, i am a noob too, but i hate cowards in the game, they are the ones who loses before the battle even starts.
