Hello Navyfield Community,

The Event Team will be hosting an open invitation 6v6 competitive tournament during the months of March and April. We welcome all players to form teams and participate in this tournament. You may form teams with any players, regardless of the fleets that they are a member of.

Teams will be seeded randomly into a single-elimination style bracket and will battle against other teams in order to determine which team rules the ocean.

Team captains please email me your team name and roster at [email protected]. Sign-ups will close on March 5th 23:59 PST (Server Time).

We will be live-streaming the team seedings on Wednesday, March 8 and the recording will be available for any players who missed it.

The following posts will contain the rules, teams, and bracket.

Prize Request Instructions:

Prize details:

Team MF/Hawk, as your team came in first place, your members will get to choose between the following prizes:

  • 1st Place: 300 Olives per person and 100 medals (or) Event Ship(s) totaling 800 medals.

Kung Fu Rabbit, as your team came in second place, your members will get to choose between the following prizes:
  • 2nd Place: 200 Olives per person and 50 medals (or) Event ships(s) totaling 400 medals.
 

Finally, Super Noobs, as your team came in third place, your members will get to choose between the following prizes: 
  • 3rd Place: 100 Olives per person and 25 medals (or) DD-MP.

Spectators,

If you are spectating a team/recording the match, you must have permission from the team to spectate. You must be in a frigate, and you must retreat after the start of the battle.  Failure to follow these simple guidelines will result in a warning, then a barring from spectating the future matches of the tournament.





My big question if you had already taken the rules of the tornedo step a list of the participants because now a new list with new participant by team ????

We did run in to some issues during the tournament this weekend that I would like to address.

1. Entering the battle room:

On Sunday, multiple teams took ~10-20 minutes to enter the battle room after it was opened and to get situated. This should not be happening. Please have your teams prepared to enter the room around the time your battle is scheduled.  Thank you teams that did show up on time.

For this reason, after the room is opened/announced. All teams will have 5 minutes to enter the room, after 5 minutes the room will close. If a player crashes after the room is closed, they will have 1-2 minutes to get back in. 

2. BB3s.

During a match this weekend, 1 team used 2 of the same BB3s from the same nation. Remember, you are only allowed 1 BB3 per nation (i.e. can't use 2 of the same bb3, or 2 bb3s of the same nation). 

Also, you are only allowed to bring 2 BB3s.

This match was played out upon the request of the non-offending team, since it took so long to get everything organized and started. 

3. Spectators.

We now have a twitch channel, www.twitch.tv/navyfieldofficial. Please use it if you wish to spectate. You may still spectate if the team you are watching approves of you being there. (We did run into some issues with our stream on sunday, however, I believe I have fixed the issue.)

This is Kungfu rabbit. We prefer the match to be scheduled on Friday/Saturday evening after 7pm PST or Sunday morning before 9am PST.

During the MF Hawk vs. Danger Latinos, I had issues with the stream which caused a loss of the first 3 minutes.
